Prof. Delphis Levia, is a professor of geography and forest hydrologist, focuses on biosphere-climate interactions, snow science and forest biogeochemistry. Field research projects include work in the forests of Maryland and Switzerland. He is the Founding Director of GIS Science and Environmental Data Analytics Program, Department of Geography & Spatial Sciences, Joint Appt., Department of Plant & Soil Sciences, University of Delaware, USA. Prof. Delphis is also the program director for UD’s Environmental Science and Environmental Studies undergraduate program. He is the Series Editor of Ecological Studies- Analysis and Synthesis (Springer Nature), associate editor of Hydrological Processes (Wiley) and the associate editor of Journal of Plant Nutrition and Soil Science (Wiley). In the 26th Forestry and Environment symposium, his keynote speech focuses on the lessons that forest hydrologists and foresters glean from the advent of the Revolution with respect to conducting forest hydrologic research.
