Meet researchers, policymakers and practitioners, exchange environmental research, and discover Sri Lanka’s conservation heritage. Selected abstracts will appear in the proceedings; authors may also submit full papers to the Journal of Tropical Forest and Environment for peer review.

Accommodation and field experiences

The previous edition offered:

  • A two-night Pearl Grand by Rathna, Colombo stay, venue shuttles and coordinated transport.
  • A Sinharaja rainforest day visit with biodiversity guides, birdwatching, iNaturalist observations and conservation exchanges.
  • An optional Unawatuna Jungle Beach outing featuring snorkelling, marine conservation and a coastal cleanup.

These describe the 2026 programme. Accommodation, excursions, transport, meals and any additional charges for 2027 are awaiting confirmation.

What does registration include?

The previous programme listed session access, conference materials, meals and networking. The organisers will confirm the exact 2027 inclusions; the fee table above does not promise a hotel or excursion package.

Young researchers and session keynote opportunities

The previous edition invited session keynote speakers and offered a Young Environment Symposium citizen-science programme. Contact the coordinators about availability for 2027.
